Casual Catwalk About Me

Hi everyone! Welcome to The Casual Catwalk.  I am a twenty-something living in the great city of Charlotte, NC.  By day I am a marketing analyst and by night I am a fashion enthusiast and style blogger.  I graduated from UNC Chapel Hill (Go Heels!), where I was a member of Phi Mu for all four years.   There are a few questions below that will hopefully allow you to get to know me a little bit better.   Please feel free to also reach out to me at

Where are you from?

I was raised in Raleigh, NC and then headed slightly west to Chapel Hill for college.  After graduating, I moved to Charlotte, NC to take a job in marketing, and that's where I am still located today!

How would you describe your style?

Overall, I go for timeless and classic looks, and then add in trendy pieces.  I wear a lot of neutrals (black, navy, gray and white are all over my closest), but I also love a pop up color in my outfits sometimes!  While I do gear towards a classic style, I also love to mix it up sometimes with outfits that are a little edgier or bold!

How tall are you?

I am pretty tall!  I'm somewhere between 5'9" and 5'10".  Since I am tall I do often have trouble with dresses or pants being made too short, so if you are tall as well then you are in the right place for suggestions on these things!

What do you do in your free time?

Free time, what's that? Just kidding, but I will say that balancing life between a demanding full time job and maintain a blog is pretty challenging.  During the weekdays, my life is pretty dominated by these two things and going to the gym, but on the weekends I like to completely check out.  I am an avid sports fan, so I love watching basketball and football!  I also love to make it to the games when I can. I also enjoy traveling and I try to have around one trip planned for month - which is usually just a weekend trip to somewhere else on the East Coast.  Other than, I just enjoy time with friends in Charlotte - going to breweries, going to concerts and spending time outdoors!
