Hi everyone and happy Tuesday!
As many of you know, I spent a long weekend in Austin, TX with two of my best friends recently. Later this week I am going to do a full trip recap with where to eat, play and shop; however, as a prep post to that, I wanted to share our outfits for our Saturday night out!
Overall, Austin has a very causal sense of style, and it is not uncommon to lots of people out in simple shorts and a tank top. However, I have always loved to dress up when I am spending a night out and about, so I bumped it up a little bit from the super casual level.
This blue Free People dress has been an absolute favorite of mine so far. The color is beautiful, the cut is so flattering and it is a great transitional dress. Plus, with a 50% off price tag it is basically perfect! I paired it with my go to Vince Camuto booties and this super affordable BP saddlebag.
On to Jillian’s outfit…. How great does she look in this high waisted denim skirt? I have yet to add a denim skirt to my wardrobe, but I may be convinced after seeing Jillian’s outfit with this denim skirt! Both her skirt and top are from Forever 21, so they are super affordable and create the perfect night out outfit!
Last but not least to Ashley! Her one shoulder black dress is such a classic dress, and it is a great way to ease your way out of your addiction to off the shoulder tops/dresses. (And yes, let’s admit it, we all know we have a bit of an addiction!) This dress is also perfect for styling as we transition into the fall season. Simply pair it with a pair of booties and some burgundy accessories and you are ready to go!
All three of this looks ended up being perfect for our night out. We started with a delicious dinner, and worked our way all through downtown Austin. We touched a little bit of everything – from classy cocktail bars, to club-like environments, and we always felt perfectly dressed! (More details to follow on the details of our evening including the restaurants and bars we went to J )
Hope you all enjoyed these looks and stay tuned for the Austin travel diary later this week!
